Terracotta pots can be used in the oven, on the gas and electric stove, and on radiant hotplates.
Before use, or after a long period of non-use (5-6 months), they should be soaked in plain water for at least 24 hours.
When cooking food, avoid direct flame by always using the mesh flame spreader, which allows heat to spread evenly.
When stirring, do not use metal cutlery but wooden ladles or spoons.
When cooking is finished, do not place hot pots on cold surfaces, but always use trivets.
Wash dishes with mild detergent or soap without using harsh or abrasive products
Store in a dry place and preferably not indoors.
In case of unpleasant odors due to improper washing, it is advisable to boil water inside them with a tablespoon of vinegar.
